JAM

The 80's really made an engravement in my life. I went to an open mic, met Lori Dokken, and sang for the first time in my life with my communication device which turned into a life line career.

"Jam" is meant to feel like an unrehearsed jam session. I had such good friends and wanted to do a fun CD with them.

"Oh God" was written by my friend Glenn Clark and I got permission to rearrange it. It was a short 3 minute song and I felt it should be longer. Everyone thought I lost my mind when I made it 8 minutes long and I really had to twist some arms to get it recorded because my friends did not want to do my version of it.

It was September 11, 2001 and everyone was in Lori's studio to record the song. But because America was attacked on that tragic day, no one wanted to record. All anyone could say was "Oh God". But those were kind of the only words they had to sing. So they went and did one single recording, not knowing they were capturing the pain as America was forever changed. So "Oh God" has become my tribute to 9/11.
