I'm all excited with my website being so new,
So I thought I would write something that might interest some of you.
There's something called ACOLUG which is a listserv I was on,
I didn't feel liked so I basically said so long.
I did meet some friends but I can't say how many,
One of them is my friend Ludwig from Germany.
We planned over a year on how we would meet,
Even though the internet made him seem just down the street.
When the time finally came it was hard I might say,
Because my friend Cherry Bender Johnson had just past away.
Ludwig was understanding and he took me,
He took me to the funeral to say goodbye to Cherry.
She helped me get my first communication device,
And it was hard to say goodbye because she was so nice.
But something good came out of it,
For I didn't know my friends from ACOLUG knew my friend Ludwig.
So a sad situation turned into a meeting place.
Sad tears kind of ended with a smile on our face.
After he left I kind of lost it for a while,
But I felt like writing so those who met him just might smile.
I have no idea when he'll be back in the YOU.S.A,
But click on a picture and it will take you away.
You'll end up at his website even though it's not in English,
And we can pray for him and his Church parish.
It's a small word and thank God for it all,
We all got friends on whom we can call.
We all are bonded together with God's strong love rope.
So lets all keep growing together in the flame of hope.
